Mathematics Game

Kids learn best in a play environment. It is safe & allows them to take risk.

Here the students have a chance to play a simple Addition and Subtraction board game. The students get to practise their addition & subtraction skills while aiming to be the first to reach the "destination" .

These game sets were put together lovingly by a group of parent volunteers. It is a joy to see the 7 year olds so engrossed in their play.

Sand Art

Stationary

Dear Parents,

I have noticed that some students are borrowing stationary from their friends in class.
Please help to ensure your child comes to class ready with the following items :

- 2 sharpened pencils
- green pen ( for correction)
- eraser
- sharpener
- ruler
- a pair of scissors
- glue
- colour pencils

This will help minimize unnecessary distractions.

Modular CCA -Music

Our class went for our first CCA lesson on 15 Jan 01. The children acted as animals in the jungle. They learned about rhythm and beat during the 2 hours lesson.

They also created different rhythm using the Sound Shapes instruments.

Classroom Decoration

A million thanks to the parents and students who came to school on 9 January to help out in the classroom decorations. Special thanks to Zi Ying (parents & sister), Ching Teng ( mum & sister) , Kinberly ( mum and sister) , Samuel ( and Daddy) and Lecia.

I also want to thank our class Chinese Teacher, Mdm Tjen who also helped to decorate our classroom.

We now have a colourful classroom. I hope you will enjoy learning in a bright & cheerful environment.
